Are you looking for Reading Homecare? Here at Gardiner’s we are have been providing care and support to people living in Reading and the surrounding area for over 50 years. Reading is a great place to liveand so it is no surpise that many of our customers want to continue living at home in Reading even when in need of extra support to do so.
At Gardiner’s, many of our fantastic, dedicated, reliable and compassionate team live in or nearby to Reading and provide Reading Homecare. Our role and key aim is to help support people to continue living and enjoying independent lives in their own homes. With our office based in Caversham we know the whole Reading area really well.
Many of our Care Workers love to work in Reading supporting clients as well as to accompany them on outings, shopping or some of the many attractions on offer. Listed below are a few of the many fantastic attractions that Reading enley has to offer. Many of our Services User enjoy experiencing what Reading has to offer. With a just a little help and support from trusted care workers, they are able to continue to do the things they love to do. Retaining such independence as far as possible makes an important contribution towards retaining one’s sense of self identity as well as of course enjoyment and satisfaction. Our team will do everything we can to help you or a loved one do what you want to do.
A few of our favourite local organisations and events
Basildon Park is a National Trust property. There is lots to see in the house including to have a cup of tea by the fire in the kitchen. The garden is beautifull and well worth a visit.
Reading Abbey & Forbury Gardens – Reading Abbey, which was founded by Henry I in 1121. The abbey was destroyed by Henry VIII’s men in 1538. It ruins are well worth looking at, as is the beautiful Forbury Gardens where you can visit the huge Maiwand Liondating from 1886. There are often events and there is aleways somethign to see.
Reading Museum – Learn about Reading’s past, from early days as a Saxon Settlement, the Medieval abbey, industrialisation and up to the modern day. Take a look at the country’s only copy of the Bayeux Tapestry and many other interesting things.
The Museum of English Rural Life is such a facinating place to visit and to bring back memories of times gone by.
Mapledurham House & Watermill is a beautiful place to visit and there are often events taking place.
