Publishing principles

The principles behind what we publish.

We’re committed to providing exceptional care at home across Reading, Henley and South Oxfordshire — but we also believe in the power of clear information. That’s why we publish content designed to be helpful, honest and genuinely useful.

Our approach

Helpful, informative and engaging.

Good care doesn’t stop at the front door. Choosing the right support for a loved one is a big decision, and the right information at the right moment makes it far easier.

So alongside the care we deliver, we publish guides, advice and articles for a range of audiences — always aiming to be clear, transparent and free of jargon.

Who we write for

Written with real people in mind.

We think about who’s reading, and what they need to know, before we write a word.

01

Adult children.

Much of our content is written for the sons and daughters organising care for an ageing parent. We understand the challenges they face, and aim to give them the information they need to make confident, informed decisions.

02

Potential clients.

We want to connect with individuals and families considering homecare — offering valuable insights and answering the questions people ask most often.

03

Caregivers.

Our care workers are an essential part of the team. We publish content that shows why Gardiner’s Homecare is a great place to work.

Why we publish

Sharing what we know.

We’re passionate about spreading the word on the high-quality care we provide, and about helping families find the best possible support for their loved ones. By sharing valuable resources and answering common concerns, we hope to reach the people who need us.

And as a leading employer in the sector, we want to showcase Gardiner’s Homecare and attract qualified, dedicated carers to our team.

Common questions

Our publishing, explained.

What kind of content does Gardiner's publish?

We publish a range of helpful content — clear information about our services, the benefits of homecare, practical caregiving advice, and insights into life as a Gardiner’s carer. You’ll find much of it in our articles.

Who is your content written for?

Mainly the adult children arranging care for a loved one, alongside potential clients and their families, and people considering a career in care with us. We try to write for the questions each of these audiences actually has.

Why do you publish it?

Three reasons: to share information about the high-quality care we provide, to help families seeking the best possible support for their loved ones, and to attract dedicated, qualified carers to our team.

How do I know your information is reliable?

We aim to be helpful, informative and transparent, and we correct anything that turns out to be wrong. Gardiner’s has cared for families across Berkshire and South Oxfordshire since 1968, and both our branches are rated Good by the Care Quality Commission.
