A big thank you to John and Moira for allowing us to share these photos and this story with you.
John is a much-loved Gardiner’s client. He and Moira have been through a tough time lately as they both cope with John’s Dementia and Parkinson’s symptoms.
To help with mobility, Gardiner’s Care Worker Rene has been assisting John with his exercises.
John was a talented and keen sportsman in his youth. He has a great love of golf and still enjoys practising his chipping.
As well the exercises, together Rene and John play scrabble, dominos and complete puzzles.
Rene also takes John along to the Bluebell’s Day Centre allowing Moira some time for a well-deserved respite and her own time on the golf course.
